STAR Curriculum
The STAR School Curriculum is designed as a power-building tool for TQ2S+ youth—a space to learn, protect one another, and take meaningful action. Rooted in organizing traditions and informed by the lived experiences of our community, this curriculum offers flexible, youth-centered modules covering essential topics like protest safety, movement history, and collective care practices.
As Octavia Butler reminds us: "Learn and run."
This curriculum embodies that spirit, equipping young people with the knowledge they need to move with intention and purpose toward collective liberation.
How It Works
This self-paced learning experience is built for flexibility. Access any module in whatever order feels right for your journey—there's no predetermined path you need to follow. Use the progress bar to track which curricula you've explored, and return to this page regularly to discover newly added content as we continue expanding our offerings.
Whether you're seeking practical safety knowledge, wanting to connect with movement history, or looking to deepen your understanding of community care, these resources are here to support your growth and action.

The contributors
The contributors
The STAR Curriculum is collaboratively created with partner youth-serving organizations rooted in local organizing. It is shaped by on-the-ground wisdom, edited and refined by regional movement leaders, and brought to life by TQ2S+ trainers at GSA Network. Each lesson is a tool for liberation built by and for our communities.
